Christina Varela

Christina Varela currently holds a Faculty Appointment as a Clinical Instructor and serves as a Medical Resident at Michigan State University and Hurley Medical Center, respectively, since July 2020. Previously, Christina Varela worked as an Assistant Physician at NEW HOPE HEALTH CENTER from June 2019 to July 2020, and as a Research Associate, Medical Student, and Teaching Assistant for Physical Diagnosis at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences, St. Kitts, from January 2015 to July 2020. Earlier experience includes roles as a Front Desk Agent at Brighter Dental Care and an Interim Manager at Ashvini Health Services. Christina Varela earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences between 2014 and 2019 and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology from Rutgers University - Camden from 2009 to 2011.
