Karen Twu

Karen Twu has over two decades of experience in the biomedical research field. Karen has held roles at prestigious companies such as Novartis, Alcon, and WuXi Biologics, where they demonstrated their expertise in CMC development, project management, and strategic planning. With a strong background in research and development, Karen has successfully contributed to various vaccine and drug development projects, showcasing their ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive business strategies. Currently, they serve as the Vice President at HUTCHMED, continuing to excel in the biopharmaceutical industry.

Karen Twu completed their Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Biotechnology at National Taiwan University in 1999. Karen then pursued a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology at The University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 2006. Lastly, they earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Texas Christian University - M.J. Neeley School of Business in 2017.
