Vijay Jayaprakash

Vijay Jayaprakash has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Vijay started their career at the University at Buffalo as a Research Assistant Professor in 2009 and later moved to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, where they held roles as Assistant Professor of Oncology and Research Director/Administrator. In 2014, they transitioned to AstraZeneca as a Medical Evidence Lead and later as a Medical Scientist in ImmunoOncology. In 2017, Vijay joined Bristol Myers Squibb, taking on various roles in Clinical Development and Program Leadership. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Clinical Development & Patient Safety at HUTCHMED, where they oversee early asset portfolio development and leads development programs for small molecule inhibitors in various cancers.

Vijay Jayaprakash has studied Epidemiology & Community Health at the University at Buffalo, Medicine at Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in Chennai, and Health Economics and Outcomes Research at the University of Washington.
