Claire Parnell

Claire Parnell has a diverse work experience in the medical industry. Claire is currently working as the Lead Systems Engineer at Huxley Medical, Inc. Prior to this, they worked at Ethicon, Inc., where they held multiple roles. Claire'smost recent role at Ethicon was as an R&D Design Engineer in the Robotics Franchise. Claire completed a three-rotation Engineering Development Program, gaining experience in different product development areas and improving their technical skills. Claire also worked on the design and testing of the Robotic Highly Articulating Device Portfolio, where they led the end effector concept down-selection testing and analysis. Additionally, they contributed to the design and development of the Robotic Trocar Product Family and the Harmonic Energy Robotic Device, where they conducted root cause investigations and owned biocompatibility testing. Before joining Ethicon, Claire gained experience as an Engineering & Marketing Intern at Vertera Spine, where they worked on creating and analyzing spine implants. Claire also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology and as an Administrator for the Accounting Manager at the Georgia Tech Research Institute.

Claire Parnell obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, with a Certificate in Physiology, from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2013 and 2017. Claire also obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Johnson & Johnson in 2020.
