Elisa Masat

Principal Scientist at hVIVO

Elisa Masat has a diverse work experience in the field of immunology and pathology. Elisa is currently employed as a Principal Scientist at hVIVO since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Charles River Laboratories as a Manager - Immunologist from November 2018 to May 2021, and as an Immunologist from June 2016 to October 2018. Elisa also has experience as a Post-doc at the University Pierre and Marie Curie (Paris VI), INSERM U974 from April 2013 to May 2016, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Trieste (Italy) from May 2012 to January 2013. Elisa completed their Ph.D. in Clinical and Experimental Pathology at the University of Trieste from January 2009 to 2012.

Elisa Masat has a strong educational background in the field of science. Elisa obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Trieste (Italy) in the years 2003 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Functional Genomics from the same institution, completing it between 2006 and 2008. Elisa continued their education at the University of Trieste by enrolling in a PhD program in Clinical and Experimental Pathology, which they successfully completed in the years 2009 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Elisa has also obtained several certifications. In November 2015, they received a certification in GLP from Qualilab Society. Later, in June 2016, Elisa obtained a Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) certification from Whitehall Training. Most recently, in February 2019, they acquired another GCLP certification from the same institution. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to maintaining and expanding their expertise in laboratory practices.
