Luke McGarvie

Luke McGarvie has a strong background in IT, with their most recent position being an IT Engineer at hVIVO, starting in October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Kalamazoo IT since 2013, initially as an IT Onsite Engineer and later taking on the role of Information Technology Help Desk Technician. Luke also had an internship as an Internship Trainee. Before joining Kalamazoo IT, Luke was an IT Apprentice at Top to Toe from September 2011 to March 2012. In this role, they provided remote helpdesk support for the company's software, configured and installed PC's, and assisted with hardware configuration. Throughout their work experience, Luke gained expertise in various areas, including Windows and iOS clients, Windows Server Administration, virtual environments, Cisco network equipment, and backup solutions, among others.

Luke McGarvie attended St James Catholic High School from 2006 to 2011. Luke did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field during their time there. In 2012, Luke obtained the Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship in IT Software Web & Telecoms Professionals from the Alliance of Sector Skills Councils.
