Matthew Ha

Matthew Ha is an aerospace engineer with extensive experience in turbomachinery design, propulsion airframe integration, and applied AI techniques, currently serving as a Design Research Engineer at HX5, LLC at NASA Glenn Research Center since July 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew was a PhD candidate and teaching assistant at the University of Cincinnati from January 2018 to July 2022, focusing on curriculum development and student support within the Aerospace Engineering Department. Additionally, numerous positions at Gulfstream Aerospace, including Applied Aerodynamics Engineer and Flight Test Systems MRB Engineer, involved aerodynamic analysis, fly-by-wire control law design, and powerplant system problem resolution. Matthew holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, anticipated in April 2024, and possesses a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution, completed in April 2020.
