Joseph Nowell

Joseph Nowell is a seasoned engineer with expertise in systems engineering and project management, currently serving as a Senior System Engineer at HX5 Sierra, LLC since April 2018. In this role, Joseph is focused on developing an advanced motion control system for NASA test facilities, utilizing technologies such as SQLite, Microsoft Excel, gRPC, and a C# user interface with a C++ backend. Previously, Joseph held positions at Philips Health Systems, contributing to the development of requirements for cutting-edge imaging products, and at HX5 Sierra JV LLC, where Joseph managed a team to create a next-generation data acquisition system for NASA. Early career experience includes serving as an Electrical Test Engineer at Sierra Lobo Inc, where Joseph designed critical hardware for engine icing tests. Joseph holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The University of Toledo.
