Surya Bhagvat is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in cloud engineering and site reliability engineering (SRE). Currently serving as Director of Cloud Engineering/SRE at Hy-Vee, Inc., Surya previously held the role of Director of Site Reliability Engineering at Harness, where focus was on establishing a robust SRE culture. Surya's career includes significant contributions at Symantec as Senior Manager and Technical Product Manager, leading cloud operations teams and migrating to AWS and Kubernetes platforms. Additional leadership roles at eBay Inc. and Vormetric solidified expertise in cloud operations and Java development, complemented by an educational background in computer science from San Jose State University and engineering from Osmania University.
