Alison Curtis-Jones is the Founder and Director of Movemonics, specializing in Movement Health Wellbeing Performance Practice since June 2022. With an extensive academic career, Alison serves as a FHEA Programme Leader in Choreological Studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and has held roles as a Visiting Scholar at Hanyang University and a Visiting Senior Lecturer at the University for the Creative Arts. As Artistic Director of Summit Dance Theatre Company, Alison has received recognition for contributions to cultural heritage in dance. Additional experience includes lecturing at various institutions, including the Guildford School of Acting and international outreach at Singapore Raffles Music College and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Educational qualifications encompass an MPhil from the University of Roehampton and an MA from Trinity Laban, reinforcing a commitment to exploring the intersection of movement, memory, and creative pedagogy.
