David Brunsdon

David Brunsdon has an extensive work experience in the field of cyber security. David began their career in 2004 as a Technical Support Supervisor at CAMACC Systems Inc. In 2008, they joined Reliable Controls as a Trainer and Technical Communicator. Here, they specialized in training advanced topics such as BACnet protocol, MODBUS protocol, Fault Detection & Diagnostics, and securing building automation systems. David also instructed classes in many locations, including SE Asia, Europe, and Australia. In 2021, they moved to Dark Ivy Consulting as a Cyber Security Analyst. Currently, they are employed as a Security Engineer - Threat Intelligence at HYAS since 2022.

David Brunsdon has a background in IT, Security, and Microsoft from Royal Roads University. David has obtained four certifications, including the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2021, the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner ce Certification from CompTIA in May 2021, the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in March 2021, and the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in January 2021.
