Jimmie Blackwood has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Jimmie started their career in 2010 as an Electronics Engineering Technician at R&D Dynamics, where they diagnosed and repaired electromechanical equipment. In 2013, they worked as a Sr. Electronics Engineering Tech at Baumuller, programming various encoders and PLCs. In 2014, they joined Monroe Consulting Group as a Maintenance Engineer, repairing and troubleshooting machinery. Since 2015, they have been working at Doosan Fuel Cell America, Inc. as an Assembly Engineering Tech.
Jimmie Blackwood attended Northwest Catholic High School from 1986 to 1990. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician at Norfolk State University from 1990 to 1996. In 2003, Jimmie began their studies in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Hartford, a program in which they are currently enrolled.
