Edgar Augusto Chojolan Prillwitz

Edgar Augusto Chojolan Prillwitz has extensive work experience in various technical and managerial roles. Edgar Augusto started their career at Millicom International Cellular/TIGO in 1999 as a Field Service Trainee, where they were responsible for analyzing fault reports and conducting field tests to assess signal quality. Edgar Augusto then progressed to become an Engineer Field Service, executing maintenance activities on radio base stations and performing migrations and site definitions for new installations.

In 2006, Edgar became an Engineer Senior at the Network Operations Center (NOC), where they defined technical and operational procedures, coordinated shift schedules, and provided second-line support for 2G radio base failures. Edgar Augusto then advanced to the role of NOC Manager, overseeing the monitoring and fault repair of TIGO's cellular network, including radio bases and switching platforms.

In 2012, Edgar joined ENERGUATE as a Manager of Network Operations, ensuring the smooth operation of the electric distribution network by coordinating resources for corrective maintenance and managing SCADA renovation projects. Edgar Augusto then served as the Manager of Maintenance, Quality of Supply, and Technical Information, where they coordinated the creation of the annual maintenance plan and executed preventive maintenance while updating the installation database.

In 2019, Edgar joined Huawei as a Project Manager for DWDM and CORE, responsible for managing projects related to optical transmission and core network technologies. Following this, they joined Solid Ingeniería in 2020 as a Business Development Manager, contributing to the company's growth in the engineering sector.

Currently, Edgar is working at HYBRICO Energy Technologies, initially as a NOC Manager and subsequently as a Quality Assurance and Operational Excellence Manager. Edgar Augusto is currently serving as the Quality Control and Operational Excellence Director, overseeing the company's quality control efforts and driving operational excellence.

Edgar Augusto Chojolan Prillwitz has a diverse education history. Edgar Augusto began their academic journey in 1996 and completed a degree in Electronics, specifically an Ingeniero Electrónico, at the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala in 2001.

Years later, in 2009, Edgar pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Universidad Rafael Landívar. This program lasted until 2011. Additionally, during the same period, they also earned a separate Master's degree in Administration from the same university.
