Omar Javed

Omar Javed is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate leadership and investor relations. Currently serving as Corporate Director at Acronym since September 2021, Omar has held several key positions at Hydro One, including Vice President of Investor Relations and Vice President of Communications, Marketing, & Investor Relations. Prior experience includes roles at Infrastructure Ontario, Oliver Wyman, Dubai Aviation City Corporation, and Abraaj Capital, where Omar contributed to strategic asset management, mergers and acquisitions, and operational optimization across multiple sectors. Educational credentials include an MBA in Investments and Securities from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Western University, complemented by additional studies at Harvard Business School.
