Kenneth Kern

Retired - Director of Operations at Hydroid

Kenneth Kern has worked in the field of operations and engineering for over 30 years. Kenneth began their career in 1982 at Sippican Ocean Systems as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, where they were responsible for new product development and the introduction of the EMATT and Low Cost Sonobuoy. In 1990, they joined Ultra Electronics Ocean Systems Inc. (formerly Hazeltine) as a Mechanical Design Engineer and worked their way up to Vice President of Operations in 2005. In 2014, they moved to Hydroid as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, and then in 2015 they were promoted to Director of Operations. In 2019, they retired from Hydroid as the Director of Operations.

Kenneth Kern has an MBA from Suffolk University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Lowell (now UMassLowell).
