Carlos Rufo held a variety of roles throughout their work experience. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer at Santander, where they focused on developing and enhancing user experience features. From 2016 to 2017, they joined BBVA as a Software Engineer in the development architecture department, where they optimized critical services and implemented guidelines for best practices. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Front End Lead at 100grams, leading a team in rewriting the user interface from Angular to React. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Software Consultant at Siemens, focused on developing internal projects to streamline business operations. Since 2020, Carlos has been working at Hygraph, starting as a Senior Software Engineer and later becoming an Engineering Team Lead. Carlos has contributed to various projects, such as enhancing the product UI, delivering key business features, and identifying architectural improvements.
Carlos Rufo obtained their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Universidad de Extremadura, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Software Engineering at the Università degli Studi di Parma, completing it from 2013 to 2014.
