Omer Gokce Tumer has held several roles throughout their work experience. Omer Gokce started their career as an intern at sanofi-aventis in 2007 and later interned at Deloitte Turkey and Turkish Industry and Business Association. Omer Gokce then worked as an Account Manager at Renksan Boya Kimya Insaat Mal. San. ve Tic. Ltd. Sti. from 2011 to 2013. In 2014, Omer joined Decathlon Turkey as a Retail Supplier, where they managed over 2500 models and handled demand and supply planning.
Omer's next role was as a Regional Manager at Super Analytics in 2016, where they led go-to-market strategies in the MENA region for the SaaS Dashboard Superbrain.io. Omer Gokce then joined Vaadin, initially as an Account Manager from 2016 to 2018, followed by a role as a Growth Marketer from 2018 to 2019, and eventually as the Head of Growth from 2019 to 2021.
In 2021, Omer joined Revenue Collective as an Associate before moving to Hygraph (previously GraphCMS) in 2022. At Hygraph, they first served as the Head of Growth from 2021 to 2022 and currently holds the position of VP of Marketing.
Omer Gokce Tumer holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Galatasaray Üniversitesi, which they obtained between 2004 and 2008. Omer Gokce then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in European Political and Administrative Studies at the College of Europe, completing the program in 2009. In 2014 and 2015, Omer attended the University of Turku, where they obtained a MDP (Master's Degree Program) in Digital Media and the Information Society. Prior to their higher education, Omer attended Notre Dame De Sion French High School from 1996 to 2004. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained several certifications, including the Growth Series from Reforge, the AdWords Search Certification, the Google Ads Fundamentals certification, and the Analytics Certification, all from Google.
