Pablo Fernández Busch

Pablo Fernández Busch has extensive work experience in various roles in the software development and engineering field. Pablo currently serves as the Head of Engineering at Hygraph (previously GraphCMS), where they have been working since 2020. Prior to this, they held the positions of Development Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at the same company.

Before Hygraph, Pablo worked as a Development Team Lead at SweetIQ from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they held similar roles at Ericsson from 2013 to 2017. At Ericsson, they also worked as a Software Developer and was responsible for developing various applications and tools related to telecommunication node configurations and system integration test suites.

Pablo started their career as a Software Developer at Woozworld Inc. in 2010 and later worked as a Flex/ActionScript Developer at Tribal Nova from 2009 to 2010. Pablo also worked as a Freelancer at McGill University, where they developed a specialized application for measuring exploration time in laboratory animals.

Earlier in their career, Pablo worked as a Java Developer at Globant, Cubika, and CodeGlide. Pablo began their professional journey as an intern at Telecom Argentina, where they maintained and developed components for an internal alert-related system.

Throughout their career, Pablo has demonstrated strong technical skills and leadership abilities, taking on progressively higher responsibilities in their roles.

Pablo Fernández Busch began their education journey in 1998 at Colegio Guadalupe, where they completed their high school studies. Pablo obtained a Bachillerato con Orientación en Ciencias Exactas y Naturales (High School diploma with a focus on Exact and Natural Sciences) in 2002.

Following their high school education, Pablo attended Universidad Austral in Buenos Aires from 2003 to 2007. During this period, they pursued a degree in Software Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Pablo has also achieved certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2013, they earned the Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance. Furthermore, in 2016, they completed the Getting Ready to Lead course from the McGill University School of Continuing Studies.
