Melanie Trent

Melanie Trent is a seasoned business leader with extensive board experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a member of the Board at Hyliion and as the Co-Chair of the Houston Chapter of Women Corporate Directors, Trent has held significant roles at Diamondback Energy Inc. as Lead Director and at other organizations including Houston Endowment and Arcosa Inc. Additionally, Trent has contributed to educational initiatives as a Board Member of YES Prep Public Schools. Past leadership positions include roles at Noble Drilling and Frank's International N.V., along with a distinguished tenure at Rowan Companies plc where Trent retired as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Chief Administrative Officer. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Italian and Art History from Middlebury College.
