Cristian Santibanez has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Cristian started their career as an Internal Consultant and Public Policy Advisor at the Ministerio de Transportes y Telecomunicaciones. Cristian then founded and served as the CEO of Explicity | Urban Experimentation Agency, where they focused on building technology to understand cities and implementing scalable urban experiments.

Additionally, Cristian worked as a Lecturer and Tutor at Sciences Po's Urban School and as an Associate in Urban Innovation, Research & Communication at the New Cities Foundation. Cristian was also a Co-founder and Head of Public Policy & Technology at Autonomy, a leading urban mobility event organization.

Cristian Santibanez has a diverse education history. In 2004, they completed their Baccalauréat, mention TB in Sciences Economiques et Sociales at Lycée Henri IV. Cristian then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences at Sciences Po, graduating in 2010. Additionally, in 2009, Cristian participated in the Japanese Language Program at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies to further their studies in Japanese Studies. Following this, they continued their education at Sciences Po, where they obtained a Master's degree in Urban Affairs, with a focus on Governing the Large Metropolis in 2012. Alongside their formal education, Cristian also obtained a certification as a Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I (PSPO I) from Scrum.org in May 2021.
