Raymond Heijjer

Raymond Heijjer has extensive work experience in various roles related to pricing, forecasting, and market research. Raymond began their career as a Market Researcher at EIM from 1988 to 1990 and later at UMBRO USA from 1991 to 1993. Raymond then joined Nike Europe as a Forecasting Manager for Footwear from 1993 to 1996. Raymond continued their career at Nike USA, where they worked as a Forecasting Manager for the Equipment Division from 1996 to 1998 and then as the Director of Forecasting for the same division from 1998 to 2000.

In 2000, Heijjer joined Michelin as the Forecasting Manager for the Replacement Tire Division in North America, where they significantly improved forecasting accuracy and received a leadership award for their achievements. Raymond held various roles within Michelin, including Pricing Manager from 2005 to 2007, Director of Pricing for the Replacement Division Passenger and Light Truck Division from 2007 to 2009, and Heavy Truck Pricing Manager from 2009 to 2013. During their time at Michelin, they played a key role in improving profitability, establishing value-based pricing processes, and designing pricing analysis tools.

Heijjer's most recent role was at Michelin as the Director of Sales Program and Distribution Development from 2018 to 2023, where they led initiatives to improve profitability and stability in price management. Raymond also received an award for establishing a profitable and stable price management approach for Original Equipment.

Currently, Heijjer is working at Hypertherm Associates as the Global Pricing Director, a position they started in November 2022.

Raymond Heijjer earned a Master's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam during the period of 1983 to 1988. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing at the Higher School of Economics in The Hague, The Netherlands from 1979 to 1982. Raymond also possesses a certification as a Certified Sales Forecasting Manager from the University of Tennessee.
