Jim Rowe

Jim Rowe has a diverse work experience spanning various HR roles in different companies. Jim is currently the Senior Director of HR Centers of Excellence at Hypertherm, a position they have held since June 2020. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2020, they worked at Appirio, initially as the Global Head of Human Resources and later as the Sr. Director of Global Talent & Rewards and Total Rewards. Before joining Appirio, Jim served as the Sr. Director of Total Rewards at Kronos Inc. from 2011 to 2015. Jim started their career at Cabot Corporation in 1996, where they held the role of Manager-Global HR Shared Services. From 1991 to 1996, Jim worked at Marathon Oil Company and Marathon-Ashland Petroleum in various HR roles. Throughout their career, Jim has demonstrated expertise in strategic HR management, talent management, compensation and rewards, and HR technology.

Jim Rowe earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Finance, Industrial & Labor Relations from West Virginia University. Jim also obtained a Master's degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from the same university. Additionally, they completed the certification course "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" through LinkedIn in 2020.
