Phillip Bates

Phillip Bates began their work experience in 2000 as a Home Central Salesman at Sears Holdings Corporation. Phillip then worked as a Mobile Electronics Specialist at Tweeter from 2001 to 2002, followed by a role as an Audio Video Salesperson at Circuit City from 2002 to 2003. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Custom Home Theater Consultant at Cameras Incorporated and later as an In-Home Custom Theater Consultant at Best Buy from 2005 to 2006. Phillip then joined Circuit City again as a District Trainer and Special Projects Manager from 2006 to 2008. In 2009, Phillip served as an Intelligence Analyst in the United States Army, providing situational assessments to senior Army and National leadership until 2014. Phillip then worked at Night Shift Brewing, Inc., first as a Bartender and Doorman from 2015 to 2017, and later as a Production Coordinator from 2017 to 2022. Currently, since 2022, they are working as a Business Intelligence Analyst at HYPR | The Passwordless Company™.

Phillip Bates has a diverse educational background. Phillip began their academic journey in 2009 at Cochise College, where they pursued an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Military Intelligence, Command Control and Information Operations. Phillip completed this program in 2015.

Following their time at Cochise College, Phillip enrolled at Suffolk University in 2012 to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics. Phillip completed their undergraduate degree in 2015.

Continuing their education at Suffolk University, Phillip earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Business Intelligence. Phillip attended Suffolk University from 2015 to 2017, during which they focused on Business Administration and Management.

In addition to their formal degrees, Phillip has obtained several certifications. These include an Explore and Analyze Data certification from Tableau, obtained in April 2023. Phillip also obtained certifications in Connect to and Transform Data, Create Views and Dashboards, and Explore, Analyze, and Share Data - Author from Tableau, all in 2023. Furthermore, they have an SQL Essentials certification from edX, obtained in October 2022.

Phillip also holds various instructor certifications. Phillip obtained a Basic Pistol Marksmanship Instructor Certification and a Home Firearm Safety Instructor Certification from the National Rifle Association in August 2015. Additionally, they hold a Microsoft Office Specialist - Excel 2013 certification from Microsoft Office Training, obtained in April 2017.
