Camilla Kongshaug has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Camilla started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Oslo in 2004 and later became a Visiting PhD at the Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan in 2008. In 2010, they joined FMC Technologies as a Senior Materials Engineer, where they held various roles and was responsible for tenders, studies, and project execution. Concurrently, they also worked as a Researcher in Hydrogen Technology at the University of Oslo. In 2017, they moved to TechnipFMC and served as a Package Responsible Engineer for pipeline coatings and later as the Manager Materials Technology where they managed specialists within the field of corrosion protection, coatings, plastics, rubber, composites, NDE, and ECA. Currently, Camilla Kongshaug is the Head of Engineering at Hystar.
Camilla Kongshaug began their education at the University of Oslo (UiO) in 2001, where they studied Inorganic Chemistry and received a Bachelor's degree in 2004. Camilla then continued their studies at UiO and obtained a Master of Science degree in Material Chemistry in 2006. Camilla Kongshaug further pursued their education at UiO and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Science in 2010.
