Chief Static Equipment Engineer at Hytech Ingeniería S.A.

Roberto Robles has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Roberto started their career at SINCO Soluciones de Ingenieria y Construccion as a Project Engineer, where they focused on developing equipment datasheets, conducting material selection studies, and designing Pressure Vessels. Later, they joined Hytech as a Mechanical Engineer, where they designed Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchangers while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. Roberto then took on the role of Chief Static Equipment Engineer at Hytech, where they successfully led the Static Equipment Department for various Oil & Gas projects. Roberto trained numerous engineers and solved challenging technical problems related to unconventional oil assets. Currently, they hold the position of Codes & Standards Committee Member at ASME, contributing to the development of ASME Codes and offering expert guidance in Pressure Vessel, Piping, and Pipelines Design, Construction, Repair, and Testing. Roberto also serves as the Vice Chair of the BPV VIII Argentina International Working Group.

Roberto Robles obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Universidad del CEMA in 2024. In the same year, they also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Evaluation of Renewable Energy Projects and Storage from the same university. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2016, they studied Mechanical Engineering at Universidad del Zulia, where they earned a Bachelor's degree. Additionally, they have received several certifications including Coaching and Neuroscience, A Collaborative Alliance from Escuela Argentina de PNL y Coaching Oficial in 2023, ASME Section VIII, Div. 2 - Part 5, Design-By-Analysis by Becht in 2020, and Overview of In-service Codes for Inspection, Repairs, and Alterations of Pressure Equipment from ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) in 2018.
