Heungsoo Kim

Heungsoo Kim serves as the Executive Vice President and Head of the Global Strategy Office at Hyundai Motor Group since February 2021, and previously held multiple senior leadership roles within the company, including overseeing Corporate Future Growth Planning and the EV Division. Kim's extensive experience in automotive product strategy spans over two decades, with significant contributions to Hyundai/Kia's product planning, connectivity, and quality management divisions. Prior to joining Hyundai, Kim worked at Ford Motor Company as a Product Design Engineer and at Arthur D. Little as a Consultant. Kim holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mechanics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MBA from INSEAD, and master's and bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Design and Production Engineering from Seoul National University.
