Kate Ambler

Kate Ambler has extensive experience in youth leadership and outdoor education. Currently serving as an Afterschool Counselor at the I.J. & Jeanné Wagner Jewish Community Center, Kate facilitates hands-on activities for youth aged 5-9. Additionally, as Co-President of the Utah Freeskier Society, Kate actively promotes student engagement in snowsports through community events and discounts. With positions as a Ski Instructor at both Snowbird and the French Swiss Ski College, Kate teaches skiing to children of varying ages and abilities. Previous roles include leading backpacking trips with the YMCA of Northern Utah and serving on the Mountaineering Staff at Camp Merrie-Woode, where Kate fostered confidence and connection among young campers. Educationally, Kate is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism at the University of Utah.
