Florian Schmitt

Florian Schmitt has a strong background in engineering and management. Florian started their career at Infineon Technologies in 2002 as a Unit Process Engineer. From 2005 to 2010, they worked at Philips Semiconductors GmbH/NXP Semiconductors GmbH as a Project Manager. In 2011, they joined Aqua free Membrane Technology GmbH as a Prokurist, where they worked until 2014. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Manager at AirSolution GmbH. Most recently, Florian has been working at i3 Membrane GmbH since 2015, first as a Manager Medical Care and currently as the CTO.

Florian Schmitt obtained their Vordiplom in Chemie from the University of Konstanz in 1995. Florian then pursued their Diplom-Chemiker degree in Chemie at Heidelberg University, which they completed in 1998. Florian further continued their education at Heidelberg University and earned a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Physikalische Chemie in 2002. In addition to their academic achievements, Florian Schmitt obtained an MBA from Leuphana Universität in March 2013.
