Stacey Mills, CMP, CEM has a vast and diverse work experience in event management and trade show operations. Stacey has held various roles in different companies. From 1995 to 1998, they worked as an Assistant Manager, Meeting Logistics at the Association of National Advertisers, where they organized and executed logistical aspects of association conferences and managed budgets for multi-million-dollar conferences. From 1998 to 2001, they worked as a Meeting Planner at the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association, where they planned and prepared logistical arrangements for conferences and exhibitions. From 2001 to 2002, they worked as a Convention Services/Catering Manager at Hyatt Hotels. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as the Director of Meetings & Conferences at the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, where they planned global conferences and oversaw marketing and website updates. From 2006 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Event Manager at the Association for Talent Development (ATD), handling all operational aspects of tradeshows and managing vendor contracts. And since 2011, they have been with IAAPA, initially as the Director of Conference and Trade Show Operations, then as the Senior Director of Conference & Trade Show Operations, and currently as the Head of Global Expo Operations. In their current role, they manage conference and trade show operations for IAAPA Expo, a major trade show with a large number of attendees and exhibitors, and oversees the exhibition and meeting operations of IAAPA Expo Asia. Stacey is responsible for creating RFPs, managing show vendors, and working with the global sales team to maximize exhibit space and determine show floor services.

Stacey Mills, CMP, CEM completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, specializing in Public Relations, from Michigan State University. This educational journey took place from 1990 to 1994. In addition to their undergraduate studies, Stacey also obtained certifications in various fields. In 2005, they became a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) through the Events Industry Council. In 2013, they earned the Certified in Exhibition Management certification from the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE). Most recently, in 2021, Stacey completed Pandemic On-Site Protocol Training from the Event Leadership Institute.
