Brad McVey is an experienced electrical professional with a diverse background in electrical inspection, education, and standards development. Currently serving as the IAEI Representative for CMP-11 for the 2026 NEC, McVey also holds positions as a board member for the IAEI NW Section and an electrical continuing education instructor for the Eastern WA Chapter. In addition, McVey is a member of the Standards Technical Panel for Intrinsically Safe Apparatus for Hazardous Locations at UL Standards & Engagement. As the Lead Electrical Inspector for Washington State since February 2014, McVey previously contributed as an electrical apprenticeship instructor at CITCWA from October 2021 to June 2023, and held various roles in electrical construction from 1996 to 2014. McVey holds a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University and a Bachelor's degree in Technical Management with a focus on Project Management from DeVry University.
