Richard J. Golashovsky began their work experience as the Owner of G&G Electrical Contractors in 1990, where they worked until 2011. From 1999 to 2001, they served as the Past President of the Independent Electrical Contractors Association, Inc. In 2005, Golashovsky joined Municipal Inspection Corp. as a Code Official/Inspector and remained there until 2011. In 2010, they took on several roles including President at State Inspection Authority, Inc., Notary at Richard J. Golashovsky, Notary Public, and Past President at International Association of Electrical Inspectors, William Penn Division. Since 2012, Golashovsky has been working as a Building Code Official at Borough of St. Lawrence, PA. In 2015, they briefly worked as an Instructor at OSHA411.net.
Richard J. Golashovsky attended Hartford University from 1998 to 2002, where they studied Electrical Engineering. Prior to that, they studied Electrical Code Theory at Penn State University from 1987 to 1989. In addition to their formal education, Richard has obtained various certifications related to their field. These include certifications such as "Certified Accessibility Inspector & Plan Review" from the International Code Council (ICC), "Certified Third Party Inspection Agency" from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and "Certified R410A Refrigerant Handling & Installing" from International Comfort Products, LLC. Richard also holds certifications in electrical inspection and plans examination from both the International Code Council (ICC) and the National Certification Program for Construction Code Inspectors (NCPCCI). Richard J. has obtained these certifications at various times between 2004 and 2010. Additionally, Richard has received certifications in other areas such as high voltage splicing, firearm training (ACT 235), and OSHA training (OSHA 500 and OSHA 510).
