James Spencer

James Spencer is an experienced executive with a diverse background in human resources and strategic planning, currently serving as the Exec Manager of Core Enablement at IAG since September 2024. Previously, James held several key leadership roles including Director at Slalom, Transformation at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, and Executive Leader for People & Culture at the National Hauora Coalition. James also served as GM of Human Resources at Fonterra, overseeing the development and implementation of a comprehensive people strategy. Earlier experiences include directorships at EY and PwC, and a role as Senior Managing Consultant at IBM, contributing to transformational change across various industries. James began his career as Organisation Development Manager at Vodafone. Education credentials include a Master's degree in Social Science, focused on Industrial and Organisational Psychology from The University of Waikato.
