William (Bill) Harwood BBA, JD, CPA has extensive professional experience in the field of international tax and finance. From 1989 to 2011, they held various roles, including Tax Manager to Partner in Charge of the Cleveland Office at Clifton Gunderson LLP / Plante Moran, Director of International Tax at NEO International Tax Group, International Tax Director at Meaden & Moore, and CFO and Treasurer at IAITAM. During their tenure at Clifton Gunderson LLP / Plante Moran, Bill traveled extensively overseas, provided multinational tax consulting services, and developed and instituted international tax training programs. At NEO International Tax Group, they developed a comprehensive program to calculate the periodic tax provision for taxable entities, to generate entries for balance sheets and income statements, and to maintain accurate detail balances. At Meaden & Moore, they coordinated a program of analyzing client suitability for implementation of IC-DISC federal tax incentive program, resulting in the annual combined tax savings in excess of $3 million. At IAITAM, they were responsible for managing International Tax Services, Financial Modeling, Consult re establshment of foreign branch, and subsidiary operations, foreign bank accounts, US DRE election, domestic use elections & compliance, foreign operations reporting consulting & compliance, GST/HST consulting, IRC Sec. 987 compliance, and Preparation of consolidated financial statements with VIE.

William (Bill) Harwood obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee between 1975 and 1978. William (Bill) then attended the Franklin Thomas Backus School of Law, Case Western Reserve University, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Business Law in 1981. In 1984, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Accountancy Board of Ohio. William (Bill) also obtained their Attorney at Law certification from the Supreme Court of Ohio in 1981.
