Ken Piddington

Ken Piddington serves as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at U.S. Silica Company since August 2019, with additional roles including Faculty Member at IANS since August 2022, and President, CIO, and Advisor at Compass42, LLC since June 2018. Previously, Ken held the position of CIO at SGR Energy, Inc., where responsibilities included overseeing technology in a global heavy fuels trading environment, and led IT transformation initiatives at MRE Consulting. In prior roles at Global Partners LP, Ken advanced from Director of Applications and Software Development to CIO, spearheading key projects like the “Peloton” initiative. Ken’s career began at Triple Point Technology as Director of Product Development, and includes founding Lyland Associates, a consulting firm supporting energy sector technology. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management & Leadership from Northeastern University.
