Ana Monteiro

Ana Monteiro is a Senior Officer at IAPMEI since January 2020, focusing on European legislation related to machinery and representing Portugal in relevant working groups. Previously, Ana served as a Senior Officer at the General Inspectorate of the Agriculture, Sea, Environment and Spatial Planning, where responsibilities included the implementation of risk analysis tools for inspection activities. Ana has also held the position of General Manager at Águas da Azambuja, overseeing water and wastewater utility management, and worked as a water and wastewater engineer at Aquapor Serviços S.A. and Luságua - Serviços Ambientais, S.A., managing various projects related to water supply and wastewater systems. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Environmental Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a Post-Graduate Advanced Management Programme from Universidade do Porto, among others.
