Don Austin

Don Austin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Don currently holds the role of EVP, Chief Revenue Officer at iA since November 2022. Prior to that, they served as Chief Growth Officer at LUX Diagnostics from February 2022 to October 2022.

Before joining LUX Diagnostics, Don worked at Swisslog Healthcare as Vice President, Solutions from May 2021 to March 2022.

Don's longest tenure was at BD, where they held various positions from September 2012 to May 2020. Don started as Regional Director, Medication Management Solutions, and was promoted to Vice President, Medication Management Solutions/BD Medical. During their time at BD, they led and mentored four sales teams, drove significant revenue growth, and served as the Executive Sponsor for the Pyxis business unit.

Prior to BD, Don worked at McKesson Provider Technologies from May 2004 to January 2010. Don held the roles of Vice President, CytoCare IV Automation, Regional Vice President, McKesson Automation, and Sales Executive. In these positions, they led go-to-market strategies, managed budgets, and played a key role in new venture partnerships.

Don also had experience at Alaris Medical Systems (now BD) as a Health Systems Manager from May 2002 to August 2004. Don led negotiations for IV Therapy and medication safety software platforms and had previous experience as a Director of Sales at Novametrix.

Don Austin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences in Athens, GA. Don attended this university from 1990 to 1993.
