Karsten Mueller

Karsten Mueller has extensive work experience in the automotive industry, primarily with IAV. Karsten started at IAV in 1997 as a Development Engineer in software development and AI methods. Karsten then moved on to become a Team Lead Manager for Systems and Methods. In 2005, they joined IAV China as a Division Manager in Electrics/Electronics. Returning to IAV in 2008, they held various roles including Senior Vice President of e-Traction Systems, HV System Management & Vehicle Integrated Functions, Body, Lights, and Wiring Harness, and System Integration and Energy Management. In 2018, they became the Managing Director of IAV India. Most recently, in 2022, they took on the role of Senior Vice President of Electrification System Integration at IAV. Karsten Mueller also had a research role as a Graduate Research Associate at Technische Universität Chemnitz from 1995 to 1997.

Karsten Mueller earned a Diplom-Ingenieur in Systemtheorie from Technische Universität Chemnitz from 1990 to 1995. Karsten then pursued a Dipl.Wirt.-Ing. in Economics from FernUniversität in Hagen from 1995 to 2003.
