Jared Tankel

Jared Tankel has over a decade of experience in the music industry. Jared started their career in 2003 as the Bandleader of The Budos Band. Jared then worked as a Clerk for Roberts & Ritholz, LLP in 2007 and an Associate for David J. Stein P.C. in 2008. In the same year, they became the Chief Counsel for IB5k. Jared then worked as Business and Legal Affairs for Lever and Beam, LLC in 2010 and President for Extraordinaire Music in 2011. Since 2015, they have been an Attorney for Mark Music & Media Law, P.C., where they specialize in contract negotiation, contract drafting, and client management. Theirareas of expertise include master recording agreements, music publishing, touring agreements, composer agreements, and producer agreements.

Jared Tankel attended Haverford College from 1998 to 2002, where they received a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and German. Jared then attended Fordham University School of Law from 2005 to 2008, where they received a J.D. In 2018, they were admitted to the California State Bar and the New York State Bar Association.
