Lara Seven Pienaar

Lara Seven Pienaar is the Founder and CEO of True Local Heroes, a role held since January 2020, driven by a belief in individual empowerment within communities. In addition to leading True Local Heroes, Lara founded Ibex Strategic in January 2019, providing strategic consultation and online marketing expertise. Previous experience includes serving as a Marketing Specialist at LABOUR COMPASS, a Strategic Consultant for Create Studios Inc., and a Group Facilitator for Meetup, where Lara established multiple meet-up groups in Boston and Cape Town. As a writer, Lara authored the novel "Wendy's Wish," earning high praise from the Portland Independent Book Review, and also founded Menus4You, an online custom menu service. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Organizational Behavior Studies and an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Pretoria, alongside further specialization in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Cleveland State University.
