Avihay Sorezcky

Avihay Sorezcky has extensive experience in the financial industry, with a focus on global markets research and fixed income. avihay held the position of Head of Global Markets Research at IBI Investment House Ltd since June 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Research - Fixed Income at Meitav Dash from November 2017 to June 2019. Avihay also worked at IBI Investment House Ltd as the Chief Strategist - International Markets from March 2014 to October 2017. Before that, they were a Senior Fixed Income Analyst at Oppenheimer from September 2011 to March 2014. avihay began their career at the Bank of Israel, Research Department as an Economist, where they conducted research on real business cycles, exchange rates, and other financial and monetary topics. avihay also contributed to writings, presentations, and decision-making processes related to the Israeli economy.

Avihay Sorezcky pursued their education in the field of economics. avihay first attended Ruppin Academic Center from 2003 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor's degree (BA) in Economics and Management. avihay further advanced their knowledge by enrolling at Tel Aviv University from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained a Master's degree (MA) in Economics.
