Steven Ellis, M.Ed., SCA

Steven Ellis, M.Ed., SCA has a diverse work experience spanning over four decades. Steven began their career as an On-air personality at WNBT/WNBT FM, where they entertained audiences and produced commercial advertising. Steven then transitioned to the US Navy, where they served in various roles such as Leadership Development Specialist, Training Manager, and HR Manager. During their time in the Navy, they accrued over 3000 flight hours in naval reconnaissance aircraft and managed training programs for hundreds of personnel.

After leaving the Navy, Steven worked as a Financial Advisor at First Command Financial Planning and Navy Federal Financial Group, obtaining licenses in various financial areas. Steven also served as an Instructor at Education Affiliates - Fortis Institute, teaching courses and advising on compliance-related issues. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Instructional Developer at General Dynamics Information Technology.

Steven's most recent work experience includes roles at Imagine Believe Realize, LLC. and Computer Science Corporation. At Imagine Believe Realize, LLC., they served as a Systems Engineer, Business Analyst, and facilitator for the implementation of new UX/UI capabilities on the MyNavy HR portal. Steven also played a significant role in the design and testing of software user interfaces for the MyNavy Portal program.

Throughout their career, Steven has demonstrated strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills, as well as expertise in program management, training, and knowledge management. Steven holds a Master's degree in Education and is Salesforce Certified.

Steven Ellis, M.Ed., SCA has a diverse education history. In 1985, they began their educational journey at the Naval Education and Training Command, where they focused on leadership, management, development, and training. Later, from 1986 to 1988, they attended the State Technical Institute at Memphis and obtained an AAS in Electronics Technology. In 1991, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Technical Management from Southern New Hampshire University, which they completed in 1994. In 2009 to 2010, Steven engaged in graduate studies in Business Education at Southern New Hampshire University. Continuing their passion for education, from 2012 to 2014, they earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Educational Leadership, Education & Training Management (ETMS) with a specialization in Human Performance Technology (HPT) from the University of West Florida. Additionally, in 2013, they obtained a Certificate in Human Performance Technology from the same institution.
