Overview:

IBS Electronics seeks a Strategic Procurement Analyst to elevate our procurement strategy through data analytics and technology. This advanced role, significantly above a standard procurement position, is key to driving operational efficiency and aligning procurement activities with our strategic goals.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data-driven decision-making to optimize our procurement strategies. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement lifecycle, from the initial quotation phase to the final delivery of goods to our warehouses. Your analytical skills will be key in maintaining data integrity within our ERP system (Netsuite) and in developing strong, strategic relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage and optimize the quotation process using advanced analytics tools to ensure timely, cost-effective, and strategic quotations are provided to sales teams.
• Oversee the entire procurement process, employing data analytics and strategic planning to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure alignment with company goals from initiation to delivery.
• Ensure the seamless delivery of purchased items to all warehouses, including third-party locations, using integrated logistics solutions and technology-driven tracking systems.
• Maintain the accuracy and validity of data in ERP (Netsuite) systems, leveraging advanced data analytics to enhance procurement strategies and decision-making processes.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and franchise lines, utilizing performance analytics to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships and continuous improvement.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional teams, driving innovation and strategic initiatives in procurement processes and contributing to broader organizational objectives.·
• Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned by Line Management, focusing on strategic initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement practices. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a strategic/analytical role.

• Strong knowledge of the electronics components industry and its supply chain dynamics is highly preferred.

• Proven experience in leveraging data analytics and technology in procurement decision-making.

• Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Netsuite, and advanced competency in data analytics tools.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Knowledge of supply chain management software and tools.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets to inform procurement strategies.

• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with suppliers.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

• Proven ability to oversee procurement projects from conception to completion.

• Knowledge of the electronics components industry and its supply chain dynamics is highly desirable.
