Dean Drako

Dean Drako has extensive work experience in the tech industry, starting with their role as the Technical Project Lead at Apple Inc. from 1988 to 1992. Dean then went on to work as Vice President of Engineering at 3DO from 1993 to 1995. From 1995 to 1999, Drako founded, served as President, and CEO of Design Acceleration, Inc. Dean continued their entrepreneurial journey by founding BoldFish in 1999 and serving as President and CEO until 2001. Dean then founded Velosel, where they served as President and CEO from 2001 to 2003. Drako's notable role was their involvement in founding Barracuda Networks in 2003, where they served as Founder, President, CEO, and Chairman until 2012. Dean continued serving on the board of directors until 2014. In 2002, Drako founded IC Manage and held the positions of President, CEO, and Founder until their departure. Alongside their other roles, Drako served as Chairman of The Permanent Legacy Foundation from 2013 onwards. In the same year, they founded Eagle Eye Networks, Inc., where they currently serve as Founder and CEO. Finally, Drako founded Drako Motors in 2013 and currently holds the positions of Founder, President, and CEO.

Dean Drako earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1987. Dean then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley from 1987 to 1988.
