Trevor Socarras, APMA®, has a diverse range of experience in the financial industry. Trevor began their career at AXA US as a Regional Sales Associate, where they supported the External Wholesaler team and sold Variable Annuity products and services. Trevor then joined Mount Yale Capital Group as a Business Development Associate, where they developed and implemented a territory sales plan and strengthened client relationships within the IBD and RIA channels. Currently, Trevor is working at iCapital, where they have held multiple roles. As an Associate in the Private Wealth Solutions team, they built relationships with Financial Advisors and educated them on iCapital's platform capabilities. Trevor then advanced to Assistant Vice President, where they fostered new connections and introduced iCapital's range of products and services. Currently, Trevor serves as Vice President, spearheading the development and execution of a fundraising strategy for a portfolio of private investment solutions and building relationships with Registered Investment Advisors, Independent Broker-Dealers, and Family Offices in the North East Region.
Trevor Socarras, APMA®, completed their Bachelor of Science in Finance with a Minor in Cultural Anthropology at Lehigh University College of Business from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their degree, Trevor obtained several certifications, including the Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor™ (APMA®) Professional Designation from the College for Financial Planning in April 2019. Trevor also passed the SIE - Securities Industry Essentials Examination from FINRA in October 2018, the Series 7 - General Securities Representative Examination in July 2018, the Series 63 - Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination in August 2017, and the Series 6 - Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Representative Examination in August 2017.
