Joana Esteves

Joana Esteves has a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in various leadership roles in the banking and asset management industry. JOANA is currently working as the International Controller - VP at iCapital Network, where they started in October 2021. Prior to this, Joana worked as an Investment Controller at VANGUARDEAGLE - Asset Management, Lda. from September 2018 to October 2021. JOANA also served as Deputy General Manager at BANQUE DE PATRIMOINES PRIVES - CREDIT ANDORRA FINANCIAL GROUP from July 2015 to June 2018. Earlier in their career, Joana held the position of Deputy Director in the Accounting and Reporting Department at BANCO PRIVEE ESPIRITO SANTO from December 2007 to July 2015, and worked as a Tecnica at BANQUE PRIVEE EDMOND DE ROTHSCHILD from September 2000 to December 2007.

Joana Esteves has a diverse education history spanning several years. In 1990 to 1995, they attended ISEG- INSTITUTO SUPERIOR DE ECONOMIA E GESTAO, where they earned a degree in Economics. JOANA then pursued further studies at INDEG-ISCTE Executive Education from 1999 to 2000, obtaining a post-graduate degree in the Management of Financial and Insurance Institutions. In 2003, they specialized in Accounting at OVERGEST ISCTE. Continuing their education, Joana completed a post-graduate program in Tax Law/Taxation at OVERGEST ISCTE in 2004 to 2005. In 2015, they attended Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics for an MBA degree, focusing on Accounting and Finance. In 2018, Joana participated in the Managerial Finance Program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Most recently, in 2020, they pursued a degree in Real Estate Economics and Finance, with a focus on Real Estate Development, at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
