Russell Girao

Russell Girao has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Russell currently works at iCapital as an Associate in International Finance, starting in February 2022. In 2023, they were promoted to AVP - International Finance. Prior to joining iCapital, they worked at BNP Paribas CIB as a Corporate Credit Senior Analyst from August 2021 to February 2022. Russell also held the position of Corporate Strategy Analyst - Treasury from March 2018 to August 2021. Before that, Russell worked at Millennium bcp as a Senior Business Manager from July 2006 to January 2018. Russell began their career at CGD as a Relationship Manager in January 2005 and stayed until December 2005.

Russell Girao began their education at FEP U. Porto, where they pursued a degree in Economics from 2001 to 2006. After completing their undergraduate studies, they enrolled in the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics in 2019 for an Executive Master in Finance.

To supplement their education, Girao obtained several certifications. In 2019, they passed Level I of the CFA Program through the CFA Institute. Additionally, in the same year, they became a certified Business Analyst through EFFECTIVE Strategy Implementation. In 2018, Girao acquired the certification for Data Analysis using Excel, offered by Microsoft Advanced Analytics. Finally, in 2017, they completed the Instituto Formação Bancaria - DMIF II certification program through IFB - Instituto de Formação Bancária.
