Shirley Yu

Shirley Yu has more than 17 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on product development, origination, client relations, and operation. Shirley is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Product Development and Origination APAC at iCapital Network. Prior to that, they worked as the Managing Director and Head of Client Relation & Operation for Noah International at NOAH HOLDINGS. Shirley also held the position of Business Analyst and Director at UBS, where they were responsible for various analytical and managerial roles. Before joining UBS, Shirley served as the Chief Operations Officer and Head of Operation at Elezeno Capital Limited. Their earlier experience includes working as an Associate Director at UBS Investment Bank, an Associate at Goldman Sachs, an Associate Vice President at Deustche Bank, an Associate at Lehman Brothers, and an Analyst at JP Morgan. Shirley has demonstrated expertise in financial control, strategic planning, operational management, and stakeholder liaison.

Shirley Yu completed their education history with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Bristol in 2003. Shirley's secondary education includes completing A-Levels at Felsted School from 1998 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a Professional Certificate in Business Writing from edX in July 2019 and a Certificate of Quantitative Finance from the CQF Institute in January 2017.
