Alexander Farries

Alexander Farries is a senior software engineer with extensive experience in developing and scaling systems. Currently at iCare since August 2021, Alexander holds a senior position focusing on software engineering. Prior to this, at Qantas from October 2019 to August 2021, Alexander contributed significantly to hotel inventory systems using technologies such as Clojure, Ruby, and Python, enhancing system performance and managing technical complexities. Previously at Marketplacer from February 2018 to October 2019, Alexander developed integrations for third-party services and supported both the back-end and operations teams. Alexander graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History from Monash University in 2013.
