Boubaker Tayeb

Boubaker Tayeb has extensive experience in the fields of law and international development. Currently serving as the Director General and General Counsel at the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) since November 2007, Boubaker has held various positions including Manager of Compliance and Manager of the Legal Division. Prior to this, Boubaker worked with the Government of Canada as a Litigation Officer and Senior Litigation Officer from May 2000 to November 2007, following roles as a Legal Advisor and Attorney in law firms. Boubaker holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Ottawa, a Ph.D. in Political Science from Université de Montréal, an MBA in International Relations from Ecole Nationale d'Administration in Morocco, and a Master’s degree in Public Law from University Mohamed V in Morocco.
