Samer Babelli

Samer Babelli, MBA, CPA, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Currently, they serve as the Director of Finance at the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD). Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Emirates Development Bank (EDB).

Before joining EDB, Samer worked as a Board Member at Interplast Group, a prominent industrial company. Samer also served as the Vice President and Head of Financial Accounting at Dubai Islamic Bank, where they were responsible for managing accounting and finance issues and analyzing special projects for senior management.

Samer's earlier experiences include their role as the Chief Financial Officer and Assistant GM at Syria Gulf Bank, where they were part of the executive management committee and managed the Financial Control Department. Samer also worked as the Treasurer at LAU Damascus Chapter.
